Holding a child’s visual attention can be a difficult thing. Their eyes and focus can drift often while learning, causing even the easiest of exercises to take days to complete (well maybe not days, but it can feel like it). Without visually scanning every path a maze can never be completed, so mazes, by design, help the child to have a dedication to the visual learning component and in turn they are rewarded by finding the solution.
